Molecular-genetic control of contamination of poultry products with bacteria of the genus Campylobacter
Abstract
In Ukraine the problem of studying the molecular epidemiology of campylobacteriosis is still in its infancy, therefore, the definition of genetic determinants of pathogenicity in strains of different origins is an important way of epidemiological studies. Modern methods of molecular genetic analysis, based on the identification of specific desired nucleotide sequences microbial DNA, greatly enhance the possibility of detection in food products is difficult cultivated by pathogenic Campylobacter. The similarity of genetic determinants of pathogenicity of Campylobacter strains, isolated from patients with AII and poultry products, confirms the presence of the relationship of epidemic and epizootic processes and the need for comprehensive molecular epidemiological surveillance of a reformed health systems and veterinary services.
