Abstract

One important aspect of the pathogenesis of arterial hypertension (AH) is a dysfunction of the endothelium of blood circulation sector. To study the functional state of the vascular endothelium, according vasodilatory function, 60 patients with hypertension of I–II degree at the age of 39–56 years. Endothelium dependent (EDVD) and endothelium independent (ENVD) dilatation was studied by measuring the compression on stream-dependent vasodilation (EDVD) and nitrosorbid (20 mg sublingually) (ENVD). Changes vasomotor endothelial function manifested a decrease in the diameter of the brachial artery and blood flow rate, depending on the severity of hypertension. In this case the normal vasodilatory response persisted in 1/3 patients with hypertension, reduced – by more than half and vasoconstrictor – in 21.9 % of patients. Hypertension is characterized by changes in types and EDVD and ENVD by increasing vasodilation and reducing the occurrence of vasoconstriction, the occurrence of which is observed in myocardial remodeling in concentric type.
